Creek Days

Ah, sweet summer. My husband loves being outside. Me? I’d rather be indoors for sure. I could spend the days never walking outside because… indoors is great. But I am glad that being outdoors has really been ingrained in my kids. They loved going to a local creek this summer and I went a few times. Did I get in the creek? Uh, no thank you. I did take a few clips of the kids playing.

I wanted to talk about a few of the items that make creek hopping fun!

1. Nets: These nets are so fun because they are expandable so they are super portable. They are not the best quality, but it’s no big deal. I just repurchase probably once a year if needed. The ease of use and portability make them a stable for creek hopping
2. Jars: These jars come in so handy! So many treasures can be put inside. It contains items and can be sealed so even if there’s water in it, it’s no big deal.
3. Magnifying Glass: So many uses, love putting these in the car bag and taking to the creek.
4. Collapsible Bucket: Love this collection as they can dig and catch whatever they want.

Note that all these items are multipurpose. I often keep them in my car stash to just have for whenever we go out.
